Greetings to the cool cats who rock the EH universe. Now, I’m mostly a guitar player, but the keyboard player in my current ensemble is a turd sandwich. Sure, he’s got bread… but he’s still a turd. I digress. While he is being replaced, I wanna know if one of them bitchin’ organ simulators from EH (B9 or C9 or what have ya) can cop the sound of the keyboard in the uber cool tune “Venus” by the Netherlands own Shocking Blue. Like I said… I’m not a keyboard player, so I don’t even know what kind of organ/electric organ or whatever was used on the track. For me, that keyboard is just the right slice of cheese that really tied the song together (Dude). I checked out the super-rockin’ vids (if you define “super-rockin'” as kind of swaying back and forth) on the Youtubes, but on the ones I saw, there was no keyboard player. They’re doing the ol’ mime to the music shtick. Anyway… if anyone out there knows if that keyboard sound can be reasonably mimicked with one of them EH super gizmos I’d sure appreciate it.
Kenney
Hi Kenney!
That sound is a electric piano.
You need the Key 9 Electric Piano Machine
Use the Wirli sound:
Awesome! Been using EH stuff since ’78. Thanks dude…
