Happy New Year,
I’m looking for some advice, I’ve got to the point where i can just about play the guitar but am looking to push beyond the pentatonic scale and learn some more of the technical side of play. Does any one have any good tips or advice on places to pick up knowledge, either books dvds websites you name it.
i know this is a bit random but i’d love any feedback.

I say go take a lesson somewhere. Even great players can benefit from a little instruction sometimes. Also playing with other people in a band or whatnot can help.
i take lessons, but my teacher recommended a book to use, the modern method for guitar. there’s three books, but you can get them all in one.

i don’t use it that much, but it has helped a little.
I can’t speak on that, but I have found this useful!
