I click on the Hazarai.
Preset led goes on.
1 or 2 seconds and the led starts blinking like crazy, like I have touched the knobs.
WHY?!
WHY?!
WHY?!November 10, 2011 at 7:04 pm #116312187whiterabbitParticipantmine does that too sometimes. you can reset it or of it doesn’t change the sound of your preset try to ignore it. i wish like heck that this device would have a jack that would allow you to send the signal to an external device to change presets. they say that you can toggle presets with your foot but i cannot do this with any degree of certainty during the excitement of a live performance. if someone from the firm would adress this issue i’m sure this pedal would begin to take market share away from more expensive pedals. i’ve researched them all to death and the SMMwH is a superior device but that one drawback makes you just want to cry sometimes. does anybody care? why not?
November 11, 2011 at 8:19 am #116319fuh577MemberWell. EHX are cheap pedals. Awesome sounding and awesome looking cheap pedals.
That’s why I buy them.
I have a sort of addiction. I had many of the old ones, sold them for need of money, and now I own 15 pedals of the latest family. I keep buying them. I can’t stop.
it’s not the first time that I have a problem with them, but mine was not a complaint.
I just wanted to know why.
If it’s because I used it the wrong way. I don’t blame the company for making cheap pedals.
Thanks anyway. I’ll keep ignoring it.November 11, 2011 at 11:29 am #116317187whiterabbitParticipantif the company wants to market their products to people that want a “cheap” sound and end up sitting alone in a room with fifteen pedals that don’t work and saying WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! then great. i was just unaware that such a demographic existed.

The price is cheap.
The sound is not cheap.
The look is not cheap.
Electro Harmonix pedals are totally cool.
The pedals work. All of them.
Even the Memory Man. Since the led does not effect the sound.
I have a weird hum problem with the Germanium OD but I can survive.November 11, 2011 at 7:13 pm #116322TenSecondTedMemberQuote:I have a weird hum problem with the Germanium OD but I can survive. Are you running the Germanium OD from a 9V battery or a power supply?
They HATE being daisy chained – noisy as hell. Mine was unusable.
Try lots of different power supplies. I tried about 6 (all still noisy) until by chance I tried an old 9V supply I had lying around and PRESTO! Quiet as can be.
It’s now one of my favorite pedals and the basis of my sound.

Power Supply. I tried them all. I even bought the EHX power supply.
It’s shit. With the battery it works fine. Daisy chained is bad.
I thought of selling it and get a new one. But if you had the same problem then I’m just fucked.
Do you know what? The Soul Preacher has exactly the same problem.
I mean. It can’t be a mystery. There’s no magic power supply, there’s the right one, and the wrong. You have the right one. I have the wrong one!November 14, 2011 at 1:20 pm #116332CryabetesParticipantsame daisy chain cable each time?
November 14, 2011 at 3:05 pm #116335fuh577MemberQuote:same daisy chain cable each time?I used a T-REX power station (changing cables), then I sold it and I got a Diago Powerstation since I have heard it’s a super power supply with daisy chain. In the end I powered it with the original EHX 9.6V power supply. Whatever I do, the noise is there. And it’s the same exact noise that I have with the Soul Preacher once I switch them on. The problem could be solved with 9V battery. But I’m not a fan of batteries. Frustrating.
