Hello!
My first post – I’m very new to the scary world of looping!
Can I ask about the 95000 – apologies if these are very basic*Does the metronome/click continue to play when the loops are stopped – and does it play before recording starts?
*If I use an external MIDI clock source, will the metronome/click change bpm with changes to the external unit?
*If I want to MIDI sync a second looper or a synth to the 95000, can I do this – ie does it send a master clock?
*I’d like to load pre-recorded tracks to play along in my set – can I trigger these mid-song and they stay in sync?
*I’m assuming I load pre-recorded audio into ‘patches’ – can I change patches with an external footswitch – ie in a live situation?I think that’s it. Its a big investment for me and I feel I need to check these things before I jump!
Thank you for any help

Maxine xxHere are answers to your questions. I’ve numbered your questions so I can more easily answer them here:
1. The Clix metronome has three working modes:
CX.ON: The metronome runs continuously.
CX.PL: The CLIX metronome only sounds when a loop is playing or recording; when the loop is stopped, the CLIX metronome is muted.
CX.NL: The CLIX metronome only runs while recording a New Loop; when not recording a New Loop, the CLIX metronome is muted.Regarding metronome play before recording: if you have Quantized enabled (which you probably want if using the Clix metronome and definitley want if using MIDI Clock), you can set the number of bars to count-in. So you could hear 1 bar of metronome, for example, before loop recording begins.
2. Yes. The 95000 and its Clix metronome can follow the MIDI Clock master in real-time.
3. Yes, the 95000 outputs MIDI Clock.
4. Yes. The way you would do this is load the tracks in different loop numbers. When the 95000 changes loop numbers it does so seamlessly. As long as the loop number you go to is an already established loop. For example, if you want verse in Loop 30, you can put chorus in Loop 31 and bridge in Loop 32 and change seamlessly between them during the song by either using the 95000’s built-in Up/Down Loop Footswitches or using MIDI Program Change messages from an external device.
5. You can change loops using a MIDI footswitch controller as long as the MIDI controller sends MIDI Program Change messages.

So can I just checkThe metronome is enabled when the loop switch is pressed? Giving me a set length of click before recording starts?
I was planning to load one pre-recorded loop length at a time – say a bass track – that will run song start to finish. Will I run into problems with this, given that the loop lengths all need to be the same?
When I mentioned patches I was planning to have a patch per song, so I can move along in a live situation.Again, thanks for any help.

Maxine xThe Clix setting you choose will determine when you hear the metronome. If you want to hear the metronome during count-in and recording of a New Loop, yes it can do that. You will only get a count-in when recording a fresh loop. If you already have a bass part on a loop than no count-in will happen since the loop is already established.
The 95000 doesn’t work in patches. If you have a bass part that runs the entire length of the song but you also want to create shorter loops for say the verse or the chorus, we recommend you break up that bass part into shorter sections and put them on adjacent loops. One loop for verse, one for chorus, other loops for other song sections. Then you would change between the loop numbers while performing the song.
If you are only going to play along with the bass part for the entire length of the song, without creating smaller loops to go along with it, then yes you could do this as well, all on one loop number.
