I just loaded a loop with WAV files from my mac via USB. After working through getting the WAV files just right, everything seemed to be working really well (I played along to the loop for several minutes) and then all of a sudden the loop stopped playing (the music stopped and the green light over the play/stop button turned off). So I tried it again, just to see if this problem is repeatable. And sure enough it is. Is this a known bug with an older version of the firmware? If so, please point me to the latest firmware and to instructions for performing the update. If not, do you have any other explanation for why this is happening?
October 22, 2018 at 3:25 pm #124415Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorCan you tell us what firmware you have on the 95000? The display should readout the firmware during startup. It will look something like: “V1.03”.
We do have a firmware update that improves the use of imported WAV files made elsewhere, V1.12. The firmware and instructions for updating can be downloaded from the following link:

Copy the above link into your browser as our forum does not keep the entire text as part of the link.
The problem you’re having of a loop just stopping for no reason is a strange one and I don’t know if it has been addressed in the above firmware update. What are you using to power the 95000? If it continues after updating the firmware, and you’re using the power supply that came with the 95000 I recommend formatting the SD card using the official SD Association app which can be downloaded from here: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
October 22, 2018 at 3:46 pm #124417matttuckerinsfMemberI’m at V1.01 … so really out of date. I’ll update and let you know how it goes.
October 22, 2018 at 3:51 pm #124418Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorThanks. Are you using the power supply that came with the 95000 or a third party supply?
October 22, 2018 at 3:52 pm #124419matttuckerinsfMemberI downloaded the zip file. There are no instructions included for installing the firmware. I’m on a mac. I’m guessing the LF1main.ldr or the UDTEST.EX_ are the programs to execute the update but only on a PC. Please send instructions or mac executable code to load the firmware.

October 22, 2018 at 3:57 pm #124421Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorHere’s the correct zip file for version 1.12:

October 22, 2018 at 4:44 pm #124422matttuckerinsfMemberI haven’t had anymore of the loop stopping. There was another problem that I didn’t mention before because I was hoping the latest firmware would solve it, but it hasn’t. At the end of the loop the play LED goes off momentarily. At that instant, there is an audible click. That’s obviously annoying, but the bigger issue is that a small delay has in effect been added to the end of the loop so that the timing of the subsequent loop is off. I checked the WAV files by importing them directly from the 95000 to my Mac and then using Garageband to listen to them. There is nothing wrong with the WAV files (at least as far as Garageband is concerned). Should I send you my LOOP folder contents for you to try on a 95000 on your end?
October 22, 2018 at 5:06 pm #124423Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorAre you using Garageband to make the WAV files? Are you able to make WAV files that are exact bar lengths in Garageband?
October 22, 2018 at 5:13 pm #124424matttuckerinsfMemberYes and I believe so but Its really hard to say for sure. So your guess is that the WAV file from Garageband is just slightly less than what the 95000 is expecting? Seems like any DAW (even Garageband) should create WAV files exactly to the bar length. If I sent you the WAV files you could probably confirm that they are or are not the correct length
October 22, 2018 at 5:22 pm #124425Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorYes, send the files to us. If you want to send them privately use PM, or I can PM you.
October 22, 2018 at 5:49 pm #124426matttuckerinsfMemberUnfortunately, the PM feature only allows files up to 250KB. Can I send you the zip file by Dropbox?
If you send me your email address, I’ll put the file up on Dropbox for you
October 22, 2018 at 5:51 pm #124427matttuckerinsfMemberJust PM me with your email address
October 22, 2018 at 6:59 pm #124429Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorJust PM’d you.
