    Hi,

    I’ve got my 8-Step connected to a Bastl Castle modular synth, which has CV in but no MIDI in. I was wondering if would be possible to attach an M-Audio Oxygen 8 (V2) to play the sounds I’ve created on the synth? I can successfully use the 8 Step to sequence notes but when I attach the keyboard I can’t seem to make it work.

    I’m pretty sure I’ve got both the keyboard and 8 Step on MIDI channel 1. Is there anything else I should be doing?

    The 8 Step does not do MIDI note to CV conversion. The 8 Step’s MIDI IN handles syncing to MIDI Clock and allows the ability to control all controls on the 8 Step with MIDI CC and PC messages.
