Hi,

I have a Freedom amp that I am working on for a friend and it is making all sorts of noise.
I replaced the caps and the noise persists.
I noticed less noise with the tone and bite knobs down and right now I am thinking about replacing Q1 through Q4 and then retesting the amp.

Has anybody had a similar problem and might want to share the solution?

The noise is a crackling noise and isn’t bad cords or guitar or user error in some other way.
