    Hi there!

I’ve had my 45000 for a few years now. After about a year-and-a-half of not using it, I started it up again, and worked it back into my rotation, a few nights ago and found that it’s not working properly.

I’ve run into 2 seemingly different problems:

    1. My 45000 will let me record a single loop and then it will be stuck playing that loop. Any button that I press doesn’t respond and the loop plays on and on and on. The only way I can get it to stop is by unplugging the unit. I tried taking the SD card out while it was playing and the loop continued.

After upgrading the firmware of my 45000 and formatting the SD card, I plugged it in again and encountered the second issue.

    2. I can’t record a loop. I’ll press the “NEW LOOP” button, then press the “RECORD” button and it looks like everything is working as normal, but then, when I try to play it, nothing comes up and I can’t press any button on my machine/none of the buttons respond.

I love this unit and would be very disappointed if it was fried after 3 years of owning it, and only actively playing it, only about once a week, for only a year-and-a-half.

I can’t find any info online regarding this issue. I’m hoping someone here can help me out.

    Thanks so much!

These problems do sound like SD card issues.

Can you try formatting the SD card one more time, but this use the official SD Formatting app? The app can be downloaded from here:

    https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/

Make sure to do a full format rather than a quick format. Also, use your computer’s SD card slot or a USB Card reader if you have one. Otherwise you can do it directly on the 45000, it will just take awhile.

Let us know how it goes after doing this second format.

    I’ll give this a try.

    Thanks so much!

    Just a quick update:

After downloading the SD Formatter program as posted by the EHX staff above, the card now worked properly. And because of this, my pedal now works properly!

Thanks so much for the fix!
