So I purchased a 45000 looper a few years ago, so I’m sure it’s out of warranty. It has sat on a table ever since. I recently retired and have plugged it in to start learning how to use it. Unless I’m doing something wrong, it’s not working properly. I can hear my guitar through the headphones. The Clix lights are working, and they speed up and slow down as I move the slider. Track Select button works.
So the instructions say to “Press the NEW LOOP button to put the 45000 into record-ready mode. You should see the RECORD LED blink.” This is not happening. No matter how I press or which order I press the New Loop, Record and Play buttons, nothing happens. I also plugged in the footswitch and tried to trigger the system that way, and same result, nothing happens.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
This sounds like a problem with the SD card. Do you have an SD card reader for your computer? If you do, try reformatting the card using the official SD Card application found at this link: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/
If you don’t have an SD card reader you can also reformat through the 45000. It might not work though if the 45000 is having trouble reading the SD card.
Hey, Flick,
Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, that didn’t help. I downloaded that software and formatted the SD card, but nothing’s changed. Still can’t get the New Loop, Record or Play buttons to do anything. Any other suggestions, sir?
What are you powering the 45000 with?
Email info@ehx.com and reference this forum thread.
