I find the action of the 45000 footswitch mecanically definitely too loud. As stepping on one of the switches the loud clics are somewhat embarrassing when playing in a quiet theatre atmosphere where I am often using my setup.
Do you have any suggestions to help me with an advice? Replacement of the switches is maybe possible.
otherwise the 45000 is a great unit.Very musical approach!
thanx Loy
..
i’ve read threads where people mod switches to make them silent.
possibly something like this could be done to a 45000.
I have a 22500 and have not yet been bothered by the click enough to look into it very far.
i seem to recall certain types of switches being more difficult to mod than others though.
should be easy to find out, what type of switch they are using and which silent one can replace it. Anybody tried emailing ehx support about this?
