I purchased a 45000 looper and spent some time learning the devise. First of all it has great sound and is easy to use.
Now with that said, it is easy to create a loop with this unit. The foot pedal is a must if using live.
Now, what I did not like about the unit.
When hooked to MIDI, after recording a loop, when the light is solid, it can not be stopped and be restarted from the beginning of the loop. The Light must be blinking.
The one thing I do Not understand is it will only record in 4/4 time when hooked to an external Drum Machine.
SOFTWARE UP DATE PLEASE!!
I was in need of a Looper and tried the 45000 again. I have changed my opinion on this thing. After really going through it and spending time on it I really can recommended this devise. It is really easy to use, and the sound quality is very very good. One thing I did do, was update the software. Just a few things to know, this devise has a 4 count delay when laying down the first loop, I did not realize that the first time, (Should of read the manual). secondly when Midi to a drum box the tempo speed is crucial. What i mean is if you record a loop at 120bpm, make damm sure that is the speed you play it back at latter if you save your loops, it change the pitch if you do not do this.
I also can say is get the pedal that goes with it. Will try it out live soon so will further get more time with it.
Further Update.
I have sold the 45000 Looper and switched over to a Software looper. Called Quantiloop. There is NO Comparsion. The Software loopers has so many features that there is too many to list. The 450000 was Ok, but the software loopers smokes it hands down.
