Hi folks,
I fancy getting a 44 Magnum and coupling it with my Vox V112nt cab (1×12 Celestion Greenback at 16 ohms).
Will this be too much for the speaker? Would I be right in saying that the Magnum is 44w at 8 ohms and that at 16 ohms it would be putting out more like 20w?
I have been using a Joyo AcTone pedal to get a nice Voxy sound and reckon that into the 44 Magnum and then into my cab will sound pretty good.
While I am here, I have another quick question. I used to have an EHX 22 calibre but got rid of it as I was getting static shocks from the mic when singing and playing at the same time at the rehearsal room we used to use. It only happened when I was using the 22. Reading a bitmore after the fact I think there was some sort of design issue with the 22 calibre which caused this. I wonder if anyone knows if that was sorted when they moved over to the 44 Magnum design?
Thanks very much in advance,
MrB
