I’m trying to sync akai mpd 26, ehx 2880 and boss rc 50.
My parallel connection looks like this now:
MPD (master for clock, start and stop) – MIDI out — MIDI in – 2880 (just clock) – MIDI out — MIDI in – rc 50 (just clock)
So, everything is working, perfectly synchronized but when I want (while everything else is running) to stop and clear loops in 2880, using play button, it stops rc 50 too .
Is possible to deny 2880 send stop message somehow?
Could anybody help please?
Thanks.
I’m sure there’s a way in the actual midi parameters, but you could also do it with how you have it set up: a midisolutions thru box like this: http://www.midisolutions.com/prodthr.htm
I use the 4-out version of it and it works wonderfully. keeps my 2880 synced to my electribes and slicer pedal.
I’l try it, thanks.
