I’ve got a 2880 arriving in a couple days. I didn’t get the 2880 footswitch, but I’ve got the one for the hog. Would this work just the same? They appear identical in construction.

Also, I’ve got a uk power supply coming with it. From what I can gather, uk has the same mains output as here (230v at 50hz). Would it be safe to just use a converter that deals with the different wall plug prong shape but does nothing to the actual electricity output? I very nearly destroyed a pedal by foolishness recently, so I’m probably being overly cautious.
