I was using my 2880, and after about an hour of use it froze. I restarted the 2880 and now whenever I hit new loop it freezes and when I push any buttons, nothing happens.

This happened about a week ago and I switched out the memory card. I’m running out of memory cards now though.

The tempo light still flashes and switches tempo with the slider.

I can also still play through the in’s outs’s, just can’t loop anything.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Tom

Don’t you hate it when you have a very specific issue with a piece of gear, then you finally find others who have the same problem but no one has a solution! I just started having this same problem, has anyone managed to get theirs fixed??

Mine also has a weird extra glitch where the ‘Punch In’ LED flashes at random intermittently.

I just took my 2880 to someone who repairs pedals to get it looked at and before he even opened it up he said it was unlikely he would be able to fix it since it has a processor inside, rather than capacitors and things. Most likely the way to fix it would be to replace the whole motherboard, as it would be time-consuming and expensive to go through an isolate the specific component that has failed, then the cost of parts on top of that.

Hs advice to me was to start looking for another one :(

    Sorry guys!
This sounds like a memory card problem. The first troubleshooting step would be to try a new card, if the problem persists then the memory card holder needs to be replaced.

Please write the techs. They can get this fixed for easy:
