Hey folks –
In the 2880 manual, it says:
The Dry track level settings don’t effect what is being recorded but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
But, it seems that the Dry track is functioning as a master record level track inline after the L/R input knobs. If I have the L/R input level knobs turned all the way down, and the Dry track up – a signal still gets recorded. That doesn’t reflect the signal path of the schematic in the manual.
I’ve tried (2) brand new units and they work the same way — but is this correct ? I’ve gotta be misunderstanding something …
Thanks,
Jay Sanchez
