    Hello,

I’m powering my 22500 with the supplied power unit. I’ve been keeping the input gain to the unit at around 10-11 but when my loop records back I’m getting noise even with those low levels of input gain. What is the ideal input gain, or unity gain, for a guitar rig? If I turn up the input gain past noon there is definitely a hisssss noise!

I also have a TC ditto X4 which I placed in the same spot with zero noise, but I prefer the 22500 so I’d like to figure out the ideal input gain so I can just play without constantly fiddling with that knob to reduce noise levels. I’m also positive it’s not any cables/ other pedals/ power supplies. My rig is dead quiet otherwise, it’s definitely the 22500.

    Any tips?

    Thank you

Around 11-12 o’clock is unity gain on the 22500.

Do you hear the hiss on playback of the loops only or do you also hear it when the loops are stopped and your dry signal is the only sound coming through?

Are you using both the Left and Right instrument input channels?

Where do you have the volume controls for the loops set?
