Hello smarter than I people,
I have a 22500 looper that was just upgraded with the newest firmware. “A” loop still will not record if the rhythm is not activated (playing). Do I have a bad unit? Or is there some setting that I need to change? If I have a bad unit past warranty, how much might it cost to repair? Thanks.
This is a setting issue. Quantize is enabled in the main LOOP menu. The Quantize setting is the third digit from left. When it is set to anything other than “n” you need to have the Rhythm loop playing to begin recording on Loop A. Set this third digit to “n”, which disables quantize mode and allows you to begin recording Loop A immediately when you press the LOOP A footswitch.
Thanks. I did think at the onset there was somebody smarter than I with the answer. And I was right!
