So I had been trying to update the firmware when I found the firmware update. Everything was going well until the 2 second hold of the mode switch. Everything was going exactly as it was supposed to until that moment. The U never replaced “UU26″… now it is just whining and not working at all. Help please… the thing seems to be a brick now and I loved the looper (until now). I have only used it for about 2 years and am heartbroken. Please help me out :(

NOTE: I was following the instructions to the smallest detail. (for the ML2UU_28.bin) I was doing it through the card and (at least now) the USB connection does not show up on my computer. I was attempting to upgrade the firmware in hopes that it would fix the looper getting stuck in a partial loop making the other buttons not work unless I unplugged the power and plugged it back in… now the pedal is a glorified paper weight and I am left jamming to the sound of myself crying.

EDIT- I bought it through your company on Amazon.com and never registered the device… not I’m hoping I did not screw myself out of anything…

I am so sorry but I am sure you can get it back running.
I forwarded you message to the head engineer.
EHX is closed now for the weekend but some one will write Monday.
Again sorry but hang in there!

At this moment, when you power up your 22500 does it display anything on the 4-digit display?

    Where are you located?

It currently (as far as the display is concerned) displays the normal 00… however sometimes I can not use the mode knob and sometimes I can. I can never use the record button. I do not have all the “BANK##” folders present on the card as I have been trouble shooting and backing up the old loops with song ideas.

I am located in Buffalo, NY.

You had put the .bin file onto the 22500’s SD Card right? Can you try the firmware update one more time if you can get the MODE knob to work?

I did try many times and again just now, but (just like the first attempt) I get to the point where all the eight lights are blinking, it says UU28 and when I hold the mode down nothing happens. I have held it way longer than the 2 seconds recommended.

Ok, we need to get your unit back in for repair. I’ll PM you.

I’m so sorry for the massive delay. Family/work/life issues had become a thing and took me out of most other aspects of my life. I did indeed get the mailing address and am sending my unit out this week. As someone who usually takes pride in their punctuality (not very rock and roll I know) I am very sorry for the delay as you are trying to help me keep myself musical, and I just wanted to say I am indeed sending my unit out ASAP. Sorry again for the delay and thank you for your understanding. I can’t wait till I can rock on again because god knows I need it now more than ever! ~the muncher.

Hi I just send a message to EHX support describing the exact same issue, is this fixed?
