I think ZVEX nailed that one, only on a smaller scale. I definitely see the need for tubes in one of these guys though.

what about the 44 Magnum!
Basically 2 22 Calibres run as a stereo pair OR a mono bridged 44 watt amp.
Connections:
Input Send return L (mono) Return R
Speaker A Speaker B.
Controls
Volume Gain Treble Middle Bass.
Allowing the amp to be used as mono or Stereo would increase the versatility immensely and if it were to go into one of the larger style cases (Then there’s no reason why a few controls for eq and overdrive couldn’t be factored in.March 26, 2010 at 7:30 am #108812LucasKinchMemberthey should put it in one of the english muff’n style enclosures..
six knobs and a a pair of switches…
– Volume
– Pre Gain
– Bass
– Mid
– Treble
– Post Gain– on / off
– Tone bypass
– Dark / Bright / warmid love it like that
March 28, 2010 at 1:50 pm #108853TheCapitalJMemberthat would be awesome :thumb:
March 28, 2010 at 3:46 pm #108854ToonsterMemberWell, that would be something really different than the 22
May 20, 2010 at 3:58 pm #107809MbrookMemberI was also having this thought if a .44 mag but only geared for the bass guitar into an eight ohm speaker, pretty much two .22 calibars. bass players would scoop this up i think and it could have a headphones jack as well thatd be in my gear bag fo sho!!!!!
May 20, 2010 at 4:12 pm #107810Mr.GrimMemberi want a .44 mag, and i want it to be a tube version of the .22 in a tube zipper, black finger, English muff’n, style box!

That would make most sense to me. I’m still thinking if I should have a caliber on one channel just to have true stereo….
…AND, if we’re going to follow the caliber thing, the next thing would be 32 or 44…
why 32?
May 20, 2010 at 9:42 pm #108002friedjesseradioMemberi dont like the idea of having eq on my amp (although i do) so i was wondering has anybody tried the 22 cal with a graphic fuzz or atleast the graphic fuzz by itself and like it/hate it?

June 21, 2010 at 5:34 am #109648inPlexicatedMemberI agree about having a stereo version of the .22
I would buy that
Have a mono/bridged switch 22 x 2 /44
a person could have a great low volume /home 2 x 112 stereo kit
