    In the instructions for this pedal it says: “When powering the tuner from a battery, the Input Jack also functions as a power switch.”

    Where does said battery go? I don’t see anywhere to put one.

    Sorry
    No room for a battery!
    Its a typo,means power is on when plugged in.
