Hi. I just purchased this pedal and I cannot get the software to work with it. (Windows 10) I have tried different cables on the off hand that I had a bad cable. The software does nothing when I press firmware update. I cannot import loops from the 1440 and it does not even show any. When I try to export files I get the error code “device is busy try again later”.
I am also having difficulties with the midi sync and am able to get the flashing lights like the manual says. However the looper cannot keep time and warbles and sounds terrible in all of the external modes.

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

I like this pedal otherwise, but am seriously considering returning it and getting something else. It is critical that MIDI sync works. I have a boss RC10r and MIDI clock sync works perfectly with the Boss GT-1000. I am trying to integrate the 1440 into this setup primarily because I like the overdub decay time adjustment.
