GC is a digital delay, DMM is the best analog delay ever. I havent tried the GC yet but it doesnt get any better than DMM. DMM can operate with vibrato as well and can be run as a standalone chorus or vibrato if desired.
I was referring to the modes on the GC itself. There’s a mod mode and a dmm mode but I don’t know how to take advantage of their differences. If it makes a difference (and I know it does), I’m using it through a synth (Microkorg and a Streichfett) instead of a guitar.
Mod is a clean digital delay with modulation. Very clean…what goes in comes out. Perfect replication.
DMM mode is a emulation of the darker analog delay with modulation.
Use what ever mode you feel gets the job done sounding right
