When entering bypass mode with tails activated on a brand new Oceans 12, I get a huge volume boost (about twice as loud as the clean signal and can barely hear the tail effect). The volume stays this way in bypass mode until A or B is turned on again – then it drops to normal level. If I turn off tails there’s no volume issue in bypass mode.
Is this a production error or a faulty unit?

I got the unit replaced but the new one has the exact same issue. So it seems like the retailer got a bad batch (and they have +20 of them). I would be very thankful if someone could do a test to verify that this isn’t a production error.
Just enable tails and turn on the reverbs, when turning them off there’s a massive volume increase. On both tested units there’s also a very audible clicking noise when changing reverb presets – even when the pedal is in bypass. This does not occur on Grand Canyon as an example.

I live in Europe so I’m getting it replaced by the retailer again, but it’s not looking good as I found other sources reporting the same issue. Still thankful if others on this forum could confirm.

The same happens to me, huge volume drop/boost when trails mode is enabled.
Did anybody solve this? Any new units without that problem?
