Hey Peeps!!!
I have a question about the Battalion’s XLR D.I. output. I know this is a bass pedal, but I was wondering if the pedal can handle 48w power?
Essentially, I am wondering if the DI capabilities are similar to that of Radial DI Box. Let’s say I run my audio interface OUTS into the pedal and then use the XLR Out. If a sound guy were to accidentally send 48w phantom power, will the Battalion stop it, just like a Radial DI box would? I could not find anything on the site nor in the manual.
Thanks everyone,
Yes the 48V shouldn’t damage the Battalion.
Thank you Staff member! Why was this left out of any documentation for the pedal? Interesting. You’d think bass players using it as a DI to FOH would want to be sure that the Batallion could handle a 48w surge.
