Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › POG2 – where is dry unity gain?
Hi all
Finally (after a very long time coveting one) bought a POG2 the other day and wondered if anyone can help me.
I presumed that with the dry fader at full I would be at unity, ie no boost applied to the original signal, but it seems this is not the case as there is an audible bypass / active boost in signal (with all the other octaves down, I should add).
At present it looks like unity gain is around the 6th marker from the bottom although this feels quite inexact to me. Does anyone have any definite answer please?
and as a follow-up.. does that mean the other octave faders conform to the same scale / signal level, roughly speaking, and allowing for differences in octave levels?
Thanks!
(PS checked the manual which is rather vague on this matter and also checked this forum as well as I could – apologies if this has been answered elsewhere)
Just set it by ear as different set ups have different input impedance’s ect.
Click it off listen turn it on and match it in level.
