Hi, recently I bought the 22500 looper and am VERY satisfied with it. I haven’t updated the firmware yet, but I’m into in soon. I like the option of importing own drum loops to play through 22500, but I’d like to know if it’s possible to import loops in different rhythms than just 2/4, 3/4 or 4/4 – I’d be interested to put 5/4 , 7/8 rhythms etc. – is it possible? And related question -if I create the track file with 5/4 signature, what will the 22500 do? Can I break it with this? :)
Thanks a lot for answer and those loads of great stuff :)

Just want to mention the 22500 also supports 6/8 time signatures.

I’m not sure if we’ve tried these time signatures but you can use the “b” Quantize setting instead of 2, 3, 4 or 6. “b” means it quantizes to the nearest beat rather than the nearest bar. If you set the number of beats per bar (in the tempo.txt file) to 4 you can use pretty much any x/4 time signature. If you set to 6, you can use any x/8 time signatures. The only downside is that the LEDs that blink at the start of each bar will not be in sync with your rhythm. The LEDs that blink on each beat will be in sync though.
