Hello! Im new here but not to EHX products thankfully. I just got a super switcher.
Does anyone own and operate one? I am most interested in the midi capabilities and was told by Sam Ash it would do what I asked. “I want to set up presets using some pedals and I want to include my Strymon Timeline and Big Sky presets.” SO… Let’s say I have all connections made properly and all midi pedals are set to the proper channels, and connected properly to each other etc. (Lets not talk pedal order please, this works as an example)Here are my available loops:
1. Compressor 2. Boost 3. OD pedal 4. OD pedal#2 5. Chorus 6. POG 7. Timeline Delay 8. Big Sky Verb.I want to make my first preset for the Verse of a song (the next preset will be this chorus, if different, then bridge etc etc then on to the next song etc)
I want Loop’s 1,5, and 7 and 8 for this preset. Note: I want the saved preset on bank 17 of the Timeline and bank 17 of the Big Sky. (the Timeline is set on “midi thru” so it should go straight to the Big Sky.)Explain the sequence of events please to create this verse preset on the Super Switcher, so that once saved, whenever I press it, it will always go to loop 1,5, and bank 17 on both loops 7 and loop 8.
Thank you.
P.s. If something does not look right, you have a question, etc please feel free to ask. I wish someone would make an “instructional” YouTube video OTHER THAN all the NAMM crap that I have watched from EHX. I KNOW what features this has and what it does I dont need to see more of those videos! Show me HOW TO MAKE PRESETS USING MULTIPLE MIDI PEDALS!Thank you.
Oh, lol, I know this is a lot to ask anyone so if it is too difficult, please tell me to buzz off.
Thank you. lol.March 21, 2019 at 10:17 pm #124982Folkstone57MemberYou can only send one prg change, so both MIDI devices would have top be set to the same channel with the same preset for each device with the FX you want from each device.

I can repeat this for each switcher preset I make right? (as long as the Strymons are on the same bank/preset as each other) So as long as I am on the same bank on both Strymons, I can make 128 different switcher presets using 128 different banks on the Strymons> Thanks

April 6, 2019 at 3:17 pm #125067PirateMikeMemberHey all!
I just received the super switcher. I don’t know if I have an issue or my expectations are too high. Here’s my question:
Am I supposed to be able to use the effects loop (send & return to amp) AND the Out L at the same time?
I can only use one or the other, but not both at the same time. So with the efx loop is plugged in, there’s no output from Out L.
Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks

Monday he is going to do a tutorial with me, when he is done, I will make sure to ask him about your question. I am trying to wrap my head around the midi functions right now…Good luck man.

EH has done a great job making the programming straight forward. If you daisy chain the midi effects, all should work great as expected.
