    What power adapter would I need for an old (big box) SILENCER? The unit just states AC, and I can’t find any other info anywhere.

    It is actually a 9vdc adapter, with a current rating of around 100mA. 3.5mm plug with a positive tip.

    Thanks for the quick response. That’s what I tried to use (well, actually 200mA), but the volume was so reduced I thought it couldn’t be right. Maybe my adapter is defective or something is wrong with the input jack, because it works fine with the 9v battery. Heard of others with the same problem. Time to trouble shoot!
