There isn’t a better sounding dual overdrive than the [strong]Hot Wax[/strong]. That just isn’t. [strong] And that causes the struggle[/strong].

The Hot Wax is by far the best sounding dual overdrive out there, but it misses a couple of features that are kinda essential for such a pedal. An [strong]indipendent EQ[/strong] for each OD (rather than the Master one we currently have) would just make this pedal the perfect overdrive, you simply wouldn’t need anything else to achieve the tone in your head, because you could combine different kind of saturation at different frequencies, one into another.

Also, [strong]Volume [/strong]and [strong]Drive [/strong]controls aren’t easly usable (as the Volume is usable just in its first half, and the Drive doesn’t saturate until the first half, as it just increases loudness before that).

Last, but not least, a switch to decide the [strong]stacking order[/strong] of the overdrives would just unlock another whole world of tones. And that, that would be a killer option, and it would just blow away every other overdrive pedal from any other brand.

You always push the limit forward, you are, like, the most creative pedal company in the world. You could just make us happy, all of us out there, who fell in love with the Hot Wax but keep on struggling for a better usability and -gotta be honest- tried to replace it, once lost all the hopes. But we couldn’t, because nothing sounds that good.

So please, be the company we all keep on loving, and grant us this tiny little wish -that is going to end our “perfect tone research”.
