Hi. I’m looking into aquiring a Musicom Lab MK-V switcher. I currently own an EHX Silencer. I want to be able to move the Silencer around depending on which pedals are active. The switcher has a tuner out and I’m wondering if i could use this into the input of the Silencer, without using the SEND output. This would free up one loop from the switcher, which would be great. I believe this type of design is what the Fortin Zuul and some ISP Decimator pedals are using.

Please see the attached image. Would the upper image produce the same results as the lower one, or would the performance be different in some situations?
