Hello everyone,
I have an old Small Stone phaser that was given to me back in high school (mid 80’s). I would like to find out more about it like version number and ID any mods done to it. Based on the pot stamping of 1378048 this appears to be a 1981 or later model pedal. Looks like there may have been a mod done due to the extra resistor soldered on to the back of the circuit board. Can anyone provide any more info on this one? Let me know if you need any other info. Thanks!

Vintage EHX boards pretty regularly had parts tacked on the back either because a PCB layout had a mistake, a design change was made or because they were out of a particular value so paralleled two resistors. So it’s probably an original resistor.
Well it’s a 5 x EH1048 version rather than the LM13600 version or earlier 6 x EH1048 version… that’s about all I can tell you on the model number, looks like a later run from the PCB.
