I am experiencing several “95000 performance loop laboratory”
I bought the unit on 03-23-2018 from Chicago music exchange.
• The first time I attempted to use it would not record when I pressed the record button. It eventually began to work so I thought I just did something wrong.
• I then noticed that when I turned the value knob all the loops would stop playing. I attempted to restart them by pressing the play button but that did not work. Again, it eventually began to play so I thought it was just me.
Today I had even more problems.
• I recorded some loops and tried to delete them by holding down the track button. However, when I attempted to record a new loop on the same track the loop I thought I had deleted was still there. I eventually had to hold both the track and undo buttons together to erase all the tracks to reset everything.
• Then a bit later to my horror the unit made a screeching sound and complete powered off. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and the power went back on. After this happened I double checked my power source (Voodoo lab Mondo) and made sure it was connected to a 9V high-current output up to 400mA as the specifications require.
• After I repowered once again it would not record. After I unplugged it and plugged it back in a second time it would record again.04/02/20018
So today I received replacement 95000.
I plugged it into a wall outlet this time. It turned on with no problem but one again it WOULD NOT record.
After about 90 minutes however it spontaneously began to work. This isn’t right.
More problems though….
When I tried to record a loop onto track #1, it instead switched to loop #2.
I called the EHX customer service, got transferred around and disconnected. I called several more times before they stopped answering all together.
Obviously, I’m not happy about this. 2 Brand new machines in a row and these things are happening.
I’m hopping at this point it’s just user error and can be corrected by manipulating the dials and switches but it doesn’t look like it.
For $600.00 I’d like some answers. Repectfully…April 3, 2018 at 2:06 pm #123772Flick (EHX Staff)ModeratorWe will call you this morning.
April 11, 2018 at 1:24 am #123786GeorgeDMemberFirst off, I’d like to say that I spoke with John the Designing Engineer and he walked me through with a lot of the issues I had with the 95000.
I’d also like to clarify that after I sent back my first 95000, the music store I purchased it from accidently sent back the exact same unit. Therefore, it had the exact same problems.
I’m happy to say that my new machine works fine and I haven’t experienced any power issues.
Thank you John for your assitance…February 17, 2019 at 3:17 am #124833MARIOSMemberI bought a 95000 looper new & have problems with the following :
1) record button sticking,
2) Cannot load an external audio track to play on 95000 (even after I met requirements)
3) Drum loops are only 4 bars long, how can i use them to record a loop, their too short
4) One of The LED numbers over the BAR indicator DON’T light up at times, then turns on & off
5) After erasing an overdub, then playback of the first loop plays back after a silent space , causing the loop to sound bad.
6) Erasing recorded guitar track loops on a loop with drum’s, causes Drum track also to erase, not easily recoverable.
I reported these problems via email to EHX support & was given explanations like you need to upgrade your firmware or
promised to get back to me with special instructions, , When asked to speak to someone, no one was available, & they never called me back after leaving voice messages & email messages. The tech did respond to my emails a few times during the week, never on weekends. Many of the Answers from the Tech could not resolve the 95000 Machine problems malfunction.I have noticed that other 95000 looper owners have a few of the same problems, can someone else chime-in to possibly
offer advice on the above issue’s? -
