    I’m brand new here, so I hope I’m in the right place!
    I’m trying to resurrect a 75/76 small stone. The enclosure suggests it’s a v2, but the board looks like a v1? I believe my parents were the original owners of it, and I “borrowed” it from them years ago, so I don’t think it’s been modded in any way. Anyway, this will be my first foray into pedal repair/mod, and im having a hard time figuring out which wires are which, specifically: effect input, effect output, PCB ground, and PCB power. I want to wire it for true bypass with an LED, but what I see on my pedal isn’t matching up with images and diagrams I’ve seen, and I’m just learning how to read schematics. Would anyone here know how I would identify the wires and input points on the PCB for this version?
    Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

    Update, I was able to wire it up for true bypass last night and it works great. (Bonus: The volume drop doesn’t seem any more pronounced then it was before.) What had been throwing me off, and what I finally realized, is that the “effect input” wire that I needed to connect to is not coming from the board, but from the “color” switch. Once I figured that out, I was able to get it wired correctly on the first attempt.

    which I had to translate to a 3PDT switch and to madbean’s “input grounded” diagram. I can give details if anyone’s interested. —

    So I’ve got the bypass part done, but I still don’t know where “ground” is on the board, and I’m going to need that when I attach the LED and ground everything. Can anyone enlighten me as to where the “ground” is on the board?

    (I realize this is a ridiculously rookie question, but like I said, I’m brand new to all of this, and I’m learning as I go.)

    Update: Well i was able to wire in the LED and ground it (i think!). The LED works as it should, and I’m not getting any hum or noise.
    But as I mentioned before, the volume drop isn’t more noticeable than it was before, but it’s starting to bug me anyways. So I tried to replace a resistor as suggested by this guy

    ( I believe it’s the fourth article on that page)
    but it didn’t seem to make any difference. I’m going to try again soon with fresh ears, because I have to open it up again anyway to reattach the 9v battery clip.

    Does anyone know of a fix for the volume drop on this particular PCB?

    BTW, if anyone needs or wants pictures of what I did to my pedal, just let me know.

    I’m having a problem with a “pop” when I kick the pedal on or off which I assume is related to the grounding as well. Anyone had any luck with figuring that out? I also have a small pop when I take the power in and out, so I assume it’s related to the ground/power of the pedal.

    I noticed the pop a lot more before I converted mine to true bypass. It’s still there, but not as loud. The only workaround I employ is to switch the pedal on and off several times. The pop gradually diminishes until it’s not audible anymore. I’ve read that you can add a pull-down resistor to eliminate it, but I haven’t tried that.
