I just bought a EHX Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai from my friend. The adapter In the Manual calls for Input 120v AC 60hz 0.15 amp Output 9.6v DC 200ma Tip- (negative tip). The adapter it came with is a Harmon Pro Group PS200R-100 Input 100v – 50/60 htz 8w. Output 9.6v (which is correct) 300mA (which is a little more mA than the manual says but I think as long as it’s a little MORE mA (not less)it’s ok And with a tip – (Negative tip) Can you tell me if ANYTHING will effect the unit’s performance/longevity by using this Adapter? ie: (Not what the manual calls for EXACTLY) Btw what is with the “input 100v-50/60hz 8w” on this adapter? does it matter at all? I thought we run on 120v Thanks So Much in advance TIM

Thanks for fast response… I’d rather ask a tech now than call parts dept how much a main board is and can you install one for me. I bet you guys get alot of “On what planet did this guy think he could power our unit with THIS wrong power supply”? LOL Thanks Tim

    Hi Timmmm
If the specs are what you say you will be just fine!
As long as the polarity is right and the voltage is correct you are good.
Having extra current on hand is a good thing!
Not sure why the adapter says 100 volts???
It should be regulated on the output. Other wise any change in input voltage would cause a swing in its out put.
The old cheap adaters years ago were like that! That is Digitech so if you want drop them a note and see why.
It may be that way to cover a few markets like Japan that are 100 volts AC.
I have a bunch of Japaneses adapters here for some ham radio gear and they wok fine at our wall voltage.
