    Hi everyone.
I have 3 EHX pedals I use primarily for studio use & along with all the other outboard gear have created the biggest spaghetti junction ever which has just recently introduced this really cool buzzing noise into all my recordings which I totally don’t want. So I’m doing a big cable management cleanup & came across these pedal board power supply units (eg. Voodoo Labs) that can power multiple pedals from one unit which would be real handy by freeing up a few electrical outlets for use for other gear. The manuals to my EHX pedals clearly outline to use only THEIR AC adapters & failure to so, if anything should go wrong, would void the warranty. So my question is can I use one of these things or not? Are there brands to steer clear of or any you recommend as reliable? I don’t want to blow anything up & void my warranty because that would suck.
    Thanx:-)

If the pedal is damaged by a problem using a odd supply yes that would void warranty but if its the right voltage and polarity you should be fine.
Be aware older EHX pedals often have different voltages and polarity’s. The newer EHX pedals are all standard 9volt dc.
The BIGGER problem when using one supply with many pedals in a daisy chain, is ground loops and CPU noise can get into the signal.
This is because many of the 3rd party supply’s outputs are not isolated from each other.
If you go with a “one” supply make sure you buy one that has true isolated outputs for each pedal.
Then try it and see how it works in your set up.
if you still have problems you can always buy an isolater that goes between pedals and a supply.

You kinda told on yourself, but if there is an issue with the pedal just tell customer service “Yes, I used your power supply.” They will never know. I have had no problems using the 9v power cables on my SKB pedal board.
