I know it’s a question already done but I haven’t still found a satisfying answer:
Is using octave multiplexer with a guitar amp and sub ON safe for speakers?
I’ve got a rockerverb 50 2×12 (vintage 30 s)
Thanks a lot!
I would think so.
If your speakers start farting out adjust the blend for more guitar or turn the bass down on your amp.
just make sure your speakers can handle the output of the amp you are using.
You say vintage 30’s Is that a 30 watt speaker? Your amp in 50 watts so you are close to max with 60 watts.
i wouldn’t crank the amp to 10 no matter what you use.
It is a combo with a cab 2 v30s in parallel, which is roughly 60 W of power handling as Orange declare, don’t worry about that, I didn’t mean to be aggressive with my question.
Thanks anyway!
You should be fine at regular volumes.
