I have this issue with just about any power brick I use: a BBE Supacharger, Voodoo Lab 2+, and a (since sold) joyo 2.
I have a weird thing with my B9…the B9 won’t produce sound when engaged after initially powering my board up. It has power to it, it passes sound when disengaged, but no sound comes from it when engaged. I have a workaround though, I pull the power plug from it, plug it back in, then fiddle around with the knobs/faceplate a bit and it comes to life. I can find no sequence of getting it to fire up except to mess with the knobs a bit. Strange…
but even stranger, if I run it off the EHX supply that came with it, it works flawlessly at start up everytime.
Can’t figure it out. Any thoughts? Common thing, defective pedal, better work around, etc…?
The B9 is designed for use with the supply included with the pedal.
We have no control over other companies power supply.
Use the original.
Hi,
I have quite the same issue with B9, although I am powering it only with EHX Power Supply.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not. When it is not working : the signal goes through the pedal with a little distortion and when I engage the pedal : NO SOUND.
Even if I try to touch the button etc…it stays like this : not working.
After that I let the pedal off some days without power…and sometimes it works again normally
Please explain and help me.
Best regards
