    I finally got around to playing with the midi program change features of the 8 Step Program. Really powerful stuff. Thanks, EHX!

    So it got me thinking that it would be great if there was a Super 8 Step Program Foot Controller that would allow us to program a sequence of multiple patches. This would effectively free the 8 Step Program from being limited to 8 steps.

    For example, program the Super Controller to run patches 0, 2, 2, and 3 consecutively and repeat in that sequence making a 32 step program.

    Better yet, build the Super controller in the old Foot Controller box (like the HOG 1, the 16SDD, or the 2880) so that we could recall on the fly up to 6 different patches of programmed sequences.

    Still dreaming on this one…

    In the meantime I’m trying to find another way to automate MIDi pc messages without lugging around an expensive macair. Using an Alesis ioDock and the iPad app Setlist Maker looks like A promising alternative.

    Any other recommendations?
