I am trying to fix this muff for a friend of mine. I tinker around with pedals and am pretty handy with a solder iron but I am a ut confused when I opened up his pedal and saw the the footswitch. I tried looking up a schematic but it didn’t appear to have any information about the resistor that is wired to it. (maybe a ground for an early anti pop) I’m not sure how to figure it in to the new dpdt switch and wiring. Any advice would be great would like to get this figured out and get it back to rocking. Thanks!

It’s not as simple as swapping switches out, as you’ve noticed. One side of the switch only switches the output from clean to distorted. The other side lights the LED when the pedal is on and grounds the Sustain control in bypass mode. You’ll have to add a wire and cut a trace on the pcb to do the true-bypass
Thanks for the fast reply Ron!
I will have to look into it more and try and figure it out.
