I’ve recently watched a video with Bill Rupert getting a beautiful baroque
cello sound with this device (see link) from a guitar. Can this also be done on an
electric bass…if so what is are the settings and any other devices that I
need?

Why yes. I haven’t posted a video on it (using bass), but I tried it with my bass, using pretty much the same settings as in the video for violin tone. it worked, just use lotsa vibrato and play like a cellist and I think you’ll be okay. I’m still blown away by the Hog2, it’s awesome.

Oh and here was another video I made, my ‘first attempt’ literally out of the box, not quite as good as the first link up there. hahaha lots of nattering on and playing. Still there’s tons of options in regards to the tone and how you play and the different tones you can get. Yes, I’m totally in love with this thing…
