CAN I USE KRK ROKIT 5 Studio Monitors with the 44 Magnum Amp? – Electro-Harmonix

Hello,
Hope you can provide some help. I have a pair of KRK Rokit 5 Studio Monitors. Last week, I received my purchase of an EHX 44 Magnum Amp (from Musicians Friend). All I get is a loud humming sound when I connect the Amp to the Monitors (direct connection using instrument cables both in and out). I also tried connecting from the output using stereo cables. Same result. The KRK monitors are within the Input Impedance range (10 K Ohms).

Any recommendations would be appreciated. If this will not work, can you recommend speakers that will?

i dont know all the specs on the monitors your using, but i definitely wouldn’t use the 44 mag with a powered speaker.
