    I’ve got this older Big Muff Pi and still have the wood box it came in. Does anyone know when they switched from wood boxes to cardboard ones? Hoping to get a rough idea of how old it might be and can’t remember how long I’ve had it.

    Not sure, but I think those are the ones from the early 2000’s.

    yup, exactly that.. 2000 until about 2003/4/5 probably…. I don’t know exactly when they changed back to cardboard as there were still wooden boxed ones in some shops (with a slower turnover) for a year or two after the card ones were around. Yours will be one of the later wooden boxed ones as the first reissues had the pointer knobs… at a guess I’d say it’s 8-10 years old.
