I’ve got a 1823M driver that I want to build a GT1 clone from. However, I’m trying to determine the exact circuit of the GT1 based on only pics I’ve seen. It seems there are two back to back diodes (or zeners) and a capacitor in series with the driver, and the bulb is in series as well. This seems strange, assuming it’s stock…? I drew out a guestimated schematic. Thanks!
Never seen one with diodes in it. Here’s a schematic I drew out.
Did the original one not even have a series cap for a crossover? The 1823M data sheet calls for at least a 200hz 1st order high pass. I wonder if people blew them up…

I’ve not seen one with caps or diodes in it. Mind you, I don’t see these things often as they never come in for repair.
