Hello there,
Anyone have any experience using the micro synth with keyboards? I know the micro synth is not polyphonic, but if I omitted using the octaves and square wave, could I still use the filters to affect my polyphonic organ? I’m very excited to buy one of these bad boys, but I first need to know if it will suit this application. I’m also a guitar player, for which I would use this pedal as well, making full use of the octave/square wave..
Thanks….

I was told it has a trimpot inside for adjusting input level exactly for this use. this would be very useful to stop clipping and sensitivity problems as keyboard has a very different level to a dry electric guitar.
Does the trim pot effect the tracking for both the octave section and the filter section?
I think it was just input gain, so would affect everything in turn, but really you want to aim for the same level as a guitar so should be similar..
line level and instrument level have that 20-22dBv difference approximately, i would think that you’d turn down to feed it with the similar level to a guitar. then fine tune with the trigger slider.
alternatively you can find an attenuator-like the keyboard’s volume knob and it could have the same effect.
I really dig this idea. I’m thinking I could run this through my DI box. It has a 3 position db attenuator switch.
Also, wondering what the main difference would be between the guitar model and the bass model. This would help me to choose the best mach for me.
As for now, I am using a DBX 120A Subharmonic synth. It adds bass and adds a lower octave very well but I need like 5 of them and I’d rather switch to the pedal idea than clog up rack space..
I have used my bass micro synth for hammond organ and rhodes piano with great results. The organ tracks really well, much better than bass. I would suggest a bass synth for tracking the lower notes.
