    Hello Guys,

The title pretty much says it. Basically, my 2-1/2 year old daughter accidentally broke the foward/reverse switch on my 16sdd. The slider switch itself is still in the chassis, but the plasic “base” (I guess you call it)…the part of the plastic switch that actually slides back and forth in the chassis is split in half. I know I have to get a new one, but what options do I have here guys? I’d prefer to do the repair myself, if it’s easy enough. If not, I can always send it to EHX for repair or take it to my tech. Either way, what do you guys recommend? Thanks,

If you’re confident in your abilities just do it yourself.

I’ve done minor stuff, but nothing to speak of. Where can I purchase the slider switch? The SSDD switch(es) are narrower and taller than the standard slider switches they used to use. Is there anything I need to be cautious of? Do you know how the slider switch actually mounts? Is there an easy way of doing this? I’m not a pedal repair tech, and don’t pretend to be, but physical parts (switches, jacks, pots, etc.) usually aren’t a problem for me. That being said, I don’t know anything about the inside of a SSDD, plus it’s expensive and rare. I guess if nobody here has changed a switch on one of these I’ll just call EHX and play it safe. However, if someone has, and can give me some pointers, please do. Either way, thanks guys!
