New Tone Tattoo Video
July 18, 2012 at 4:30 pm #117875TenSecondTedMemberGreat Demo!
However, I’m a bit confused about the price of the Tone Tattoo.
It looks like it will be approx £160 in the UK.
I can pick up all of the ‘component pieces’ (Pocket Metal Muff, Neo Clone, Memory Toy) for approx £140. Swapping for a Micro MM its £150, and just £172 for the full all singing all dancing MM with top boost.
Except for a noise gate, I’m not sure what the advantages are. It seems I’m paying slightly more for less flexibility???
Usually when I buy a 6 pack of Coke, it costs substantially less than 6 individual cans.

July 19, 2012 at 1:36 pm #117881Mr.GrimMemberI dont compleatly agree that all EHX is expensive or overpriced.
And if the Tatoo does cost more than its individual boxes im assuming its because they have tu use smaller and or more expencive components.

In fact, pedals like the Muff Overdrive, lpb-1, Pocket Metal Muff, big muff, Stereo Pulsar, Small Stone, Double Muff, Neo Clone, Memory Toy, Dr Q etc. are a real steal!
In fact, I don’t think the Tone Tattoo is particularly overpriced. I just think it should cost less than the stand-alone pedals.

I’m in new Zealand, arse end of the world and we have retail prices on par with online American storesAugust 4, 2012 at 10:52 am #117977moonmin82MemberWould I be correct to assume that there would be less tone suck / volume loss than when using the three pedals seperately?
