I love my Freeze pedal…but I’m also excited about the new SuperEgo…

Will the SuperEgo function the same as the Freeze in specific settings?

The Superego is basicly the same, plus tweak and twiddle, and the possibility of the send/return. I’m the same as you, just Loved the Freeze, but Superego is the winner anytime. Takes a while to get used to but i love it even more than the Freeze. Good luck on ya

Hi Andersbror, Again! I twiddled and tweaked some more (still tryin’ to get to grips with what can/can’t be done with it!) I can now asure that it’s easier to define the notes on the Super, the Freeze worked better for single notes, and the way you can layer it is just awesome. I’m gonna spend the next few days puttin’ in anything i can think of in the send/return and see what i can achieve :)

I’ve got a Freeze but have been considering a superego as well. Really wish the superego had presets, that make the decision easy. Love the potential tones from the super ego but want to have the traditional freeze available without bending down and twisting knobs.
