I have an older poyphase, “does not say stereo”
The potentiometer for mod rate is broken, what is the value of this pot and where can I get one?
It’s a 1M reverse audio. You probably won’t be able to find one that fits like the original.
could I use a regular 1meg pot and just wire it backwards?
could I use a regular 1meg pot and just wire it backwards?
You could but it will work backwards.
and if it’s a linear sweep, it won’t be quite right
This is what I picked up from radio-shack “1meg linear taper potentiometer”
.5watts rated power
so should i wire it exactly like the original or backwards?
If you wire it backwards, it’ll just be like the original but it’ll go fast to slow. If you wire it like the original, it’ll be slow to fast, but the rate change will be weird.
