Hi, quick ponder. Why does it say ‘Recharge or dispose of in fire’ on every new EHX battery that comes with a pedal? Since they’re zinc carbon, they shouldn’t be rechargeable, so what is this, before I go charging, and wrecking batteries?
Dan
I bet it says (or SHOULD say) DO NOT recharge or dispose of in fire.

I can’t imagine there’d be too many electrical components safe to dispose of in fire.
I just checked an EHX battery, it says: “Caution: Do not use improperly,
recharge, or dispose of in fire”
It is true that it is written on two lines for it to fit, but it is the same sentence
